Redworms and brandlings as a fishing bait
Brandlings are those worms that have those yellowish bands around them. Smaller than the lobworm they are more often used as a hook bait. They can be used on their own or in "cocktails" with maggots and are a killer bait for Perch, but you will catch just about anything on them. They can also be chopped and used as groundbait additive or loose feed. These are the worms your tackle dealer sells in those little plastic pots. If you don't want to buy them find yourself a friendly farmer who doesn't mind you poking around his muck heap with a fork.
Redworms are similar to Brandlings but don't have the rings on them. These ar also excellent hook baits and often score with the shy biting fish.
