Dendrobaena worms - the superb coarse fishing worm

Dendrobaena are the most popular worm used in coarse fishing today. It is basically a good all round worm with plenty life. They also make excellent composting worms. They aren't lovers of daylight which is what makes them so wriggly and hence more attractive to fish. Dendrobaena worms are an ideal fishing bait as every species of fish will take a worm. I have even personally had the occasional Pike on them. Perch are especially fond of a big, juicy Dendrobaena and they make a perfect bait for waggler fishing at range, as they hold to the hook well when casting.

Chopped worm is also a favourite loose feed when conditions are particularly tough. You can buy these worms in handy pots online from Willy Worms www.willyworms.co.uk
