products and service to the composting, fishing bait and worm specialist
markets.

Their experience, research and commitment enable them to provide an
excellence in service, quality, know-how and reliability, for the angler,
composter/ recycler, reptile or amphibian keeper , bird and fish enthusiast and the domestic or commercial vermicomposter.

They sell 3 types of worm to the angler. Here is a little about each type.

Dendrobaena

Dendrobaena are tough and the most popular worm used for fishing, they are lively,
wriggle like no other worm and survive in the coldest of waters for longer.
Not only can they be used in fresh water but in brackish water too.
Small ones are ideal for canal or pond fishing. Medium, are for quality fish,
match sized Carp, big Bream not to mention Tench, Perch and Roach.
Use the large Dendrobaena when after specimen fish.

Looking after Dendrobaena could not be easier, providing they are in a reasonable
sized container (with air holes) with some moist bedding, a little bit of food
and out of direct sunlight they will live quite happily for weeks, no need to
keep in the fridge, but a word of warning, do not leave the lid of in the dark
or they will be gone!

Lob Worms

Lob worms are the large worms with the flat tail that are found in our gardens.
The worms we supply are imported from Canada where they have become so well established
that in many places they are considered a pest . When truly big fish are your target
then it has to be the Lob worm, fish will eat them in all conditions particularly when
there has been flood water around because it is these worms the fish have been feeding on,
everything likes Lob worms. Perch, Roach, Dace, Eels, Tench, Carp, Bream, Chubb, Rudd,
Zander and even Pike.

Mixed Red Worms

Reds is a common name given to several different worms, they are smaller than Dendrobaena
and are an excellent bait for Perch, Roach, Dace, Tench and Bream, they are also good in canals ,
dykes and ponds.

Red worms are better off being kept in a container with some old, damp horse manure, kept on
a cold floor, out of direct sunlight. Red worms should not be kept for long periods, due to
their small size they are prone to injury when being handled and will deteriorate quite quickly,
so handle with care!

Please note, Red worms are not always available, being a tricky worm to grow and harvest, as
much notice as possible is appreciated.
