Woodhouse Park Anglers - Wythenshawe, Manchester

Based in Woodhouse Park, Part of the large estate of Wythenshawe, they offer their members three types of membership, Junior, Senior, and Carp Anglers. Currently there is a waiting list for the Carp section but the junior and senior sections are still open to, and indeed welcomes new members. They have a thriving senior match section, whilst the carp section operates an excellent specimen lake with lots of double figure carp, and the junior section has a lot to offer budding stars of the future.


The club has 3 (three) waters under its control, two of which are open to day tickets and the third Loonts Lake which is STRICTLY members only.

Painswick Park Lake is the main day ticket and match water, this water has some great plans for the future.

Peel Hall Moat is the smallest of the clubs waters, the Moat is nevertheless just as popular with club members.

Loonts Lake is by far their largest water,and is stocked with a fine head of specimin carp, it is however a MEMBERS only water and is run by the Carp section of the club
