Fishing Tackle and general fishing insurance

Imagine if your fishing tackle was stolen - and believe me it is traumatic. I know because it happened to me and also to a friend of mine. Have you ever sat down to appraise how much it would cost to not only replace the main items such as rods, poles, box, reels, nets etc - but the hundreds of smaller items you have accumulated. Storage is another issue. Most people put their tackle in a shed or garage. Will this be covered under your general house contents policy?

Fishing tackle insurance is something I was FORCED to address when I found out mine wasn't covered under the general house contents insurance. It was no ones fault but my own, I just hadn't checked. It is the "it won't happen to me" theory
