Anglers are going to play a very big part in Sport Relief '04 to help people in need.
Angling’s Sport Relief Megamatch will be taking place on Midsummer's Eve – Monday June 21st. Can’t make it to the match? Shame. But don’t fear – anglers throughout the UK will be raising money in all sorts of ways.
Why not have some of the following fishy fun…- Get sponsored to fish for 24 hours
- Sell sandwiches and tea to your fellow anglers
- Hold a 'Guess The Weight Of The Fish' competition
- Get sponsored for every fish you catch
- Get sponsored to fish in fancy dress for a day
- Dress as a fish and go swimming!
And of course you can take part in the biggest mile in history on sport relief saturday, July 10th.
Angling’s involvement in Sport Relief has been heavily supported by the fantastic Angling Trades Association and the awesome Environment Agency.
