The Tuna Sandwich Incident - a fishing trip cut short

This is a story relayed to me by a friend who swears it happened to a friend of HIS friend - you know the kind of story.

Apparently this chap went off fishing with all his usual stuff and his usual pack of sandwiches lovingly prepared by his wife.

He hadn't been gone more than about an hour when his wife noticed the family cat staggering around and vomiting violently. Then she realised, she had given the cat the remains of the tuna fish that was on her husbands sandwiches.

Frantically she reached him on the mobile and almost screamed down the phone "DON'T EAT THE SANDWICHES" - "too late" he replied "I already have".

She told him what had happened with the cat and he thought it best to get straight off to casualty and get his stomach pumped.

The morning after his stomach was so sore after the stomach pump he decided to take a day off work. A knock came at the door and it was the milkman "how's your cat today?" the milkman asked. The man replied that he was much better today and asked him how he knew the cat had been poorly - The milkman replied "Oh I accidentally dropped a bottle of milk on its head yesterday - it seemed to make it all groggy and it started throwing up"

If anyone knows if this really is true then let me know - but it does make a great tale
